When I wrote my first novel, The Christmas Box, I never imagined it would become an international bestseller. It was a story for my two (then) little girls. But as I wrote, I realized that it was also for my mother -- to ease her pain over losing a child. My mother was my staunchest supporter and my biggest fan. A receptionist at a doctor's office, she would sell my book (sometimes by the case!) to patients in the waiting room. When The Christmas Box hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list, no one, including me, was more excited than my mother. I lost my mother on Valentine's Day of 2006. After weeks of struggling with my grief, I decided I would write a story for her. As she loved Christmas, I chose to write a Christmas novel, my first since The Christmas Box. Finding Noel is about how people come into our lives for a reason. It is a love story about Macy and Mark, two young people from different worlds. I'm sorry that this Christmas, for the first time since I became a writer, I won't be able to present my mother with a copy of my book. I think she would have enjoyed reading it. But, then again, I'm not certain that she hasn't. As you read Finding Noel, I hope that you enjoy the journey and feel the same powerful emotions I felt as the story came to me. Fondly, Richard Evans

I totally enjoyed this book. I read it over Christmas and although I had to read it intermittently during all of the busy festivities, I looked forward to getting back into it. SWEET storyline yet not too mushy. Very nice book.
I found myself contemplating with the story, it seem fiction or maybe not, the character and the detail is almost unreal but in reality it could happen to anybody. The book will be perfect gift to giveaway for this holiday season,in addition, it is perfect for warm heart and compassionate individual. The plans is to read few chapter to ease the boredness of the evening and to make my eyes tire until i fall to sleep instead, it's daunt me to finish the book in one reading even to the deep of the night. It's a beautiful story, intelligently told and well verse.this is my second book from Mr Evans, the first one is the "The Christmas Box" which didn't bring excitement to my reading in my humble opinion but this second book is full of family tradition and true relations to one another. i will definitely read again in the near future. The simplicity of the story brings meaningful life of love to one another from each character, it bring affection & true meaning of second chances.
This is a beutiful story that conveys the true meaning of Christmas. Though it shows the ups and downs of life, it has a theme of "everything happens for a reason". It is a nice, quick read and more like a novelette. Enjoyed it.
I could not put this book down, I was drawn to it. I love it.
Noel is a heartwarming story of sadness, warmth, trust, courage, and joy in an enjoyable setting that only Richard Paul Evans can acclaim. He weaves his tale of sisterly love that only God can take the credit for. This is a tender tale of two sisters, separated at a young age and brought together by God's plan for their lives.
